Sarah is a professionally trained photojournalist through the University of Missouri
in Columbia (Bachelors of Journalism, 2003). She has worked with multiple
publications around the country including the New York Times and Mother Jones
Magazine in San Francisco. Sarah has returned to St. Louis to continue to
photograph weddings with St. Louis Color. Her weddings have been featured
on the Knot.com and Portland Bride and Groom. Using her journalistic background,
Sarah tells stories through photographs. This same approach is used to catch the
unique moments in her weddings. She focuses on the spontaneous and candid,
taking some posed photos but for the most part remaining in the background and
letting the day lead the shooting.
