Guillermo Gomez

Guillermo, along with his wife Beatriz, are the joint owners of St. Louis Color, Inc. He not only runs the business, but he is also a Senior Photographer. Guillermo began pursuing his passion for photography while studying Anthropology in college, documenting research projects through his pictures. He later traveled around the country documenting various social work projects and offices.

Guillermo graduated from the Washington University MBA program and after achieving some business experience, decided to start St. Louis Color, Inc. The company’s current form began in 1986 and Guillermo decided to specialize in journalistic style wedding photography in 1990. Guillermo enjoys capturing the physical and emotional beauty behind each subject.

He works hard and is extremely talented at giving excellent support to others in order to promote their talents. He thoroughly enjoys helping artistically talented people find success. Guillermo also enjoys running his business, keeping it up to date, artistically exciting and of high quality.

Stacy Collier

Stacy Collier

Stacy is a Senior Photographer for St. Louis Color, where she began as an assistant in 1998. Stacy found her niche for photography in her high school photography class. She has taken numerous classes throughout college and began to shoot on her own in 1997. For several years Stacy worked for what is now Wolf Camera – eventually managing a couple of their locations in West County. Stacy’s photography career blossomed when she started shooting for a number of special events, such as: The Gingerbread Auction put on by the Junior League, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the TRUTH campaign.

Today Stacy keeps busy working several days a week at our offices in Ladue and shoots weddings regularly. She also assists at a leading commercial photography studio. Stacy has a creative eye and a true passion for journalistic style photography. Her complete immersion into image capture and editing has further honed her considerable skills. She enjoys the creative challenge of capturing those special moments couples share on their wedding day.

Lisa Ann JenkinsLisa Ann Jenkins

Lisa is a Senior Photographer for St. Louis Color. Her passion for photography began at age eleven when Lisa’s father handed her a manual camera. Lisa later became introduced to black and white photography in high school as the yearbook photographer. Lisa graduated from the University of Missouri, arguably the top school of photojournalism in the country, in 1993 – earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Photography. Her keen eye for candid photography made her a perfect match when she began to photograph for St. Louis Color shortly thereafter.

Lisa finds the creativity of photography very fulfilling. In the last few years, Lisa’s two young daughters and a new-born son have helped her find a love for children’s photography. She also has a growing sports photography business. Her professional memberships include the PPA, the MOPPA, and the GSLPPA.

For artistic reasons, Lisa has chosen to only shoot weddings that include a non-shooting assistant throughout the wedding. Her name is Debbie and they always shoot as a team – they have a family photography firm together. That is a minimal additional charge, but well worth it.

Sharon PottsSharon Potts

Sharon is a Senior Photographer for St. Louis Color. Her love for photography began in sixth grade, when she got her first camera. Sharon studied photography a great deal starting in high school. While attending Maryville University, she completed many photography courses, strengthening her technique and creativity. She has won or placed in various photography shows throughout her career.

Sharon began a career in photography selling her work to galleries within the St. Louis area. Her work can be found throughout the city of St. Louis, including such places as: The Ralston Purina Credit Union and Barnes Hospital. Sharon began working for St. Louis Color in 1996 as a photographer’s assistant and worked her way to a senior photographer position. Her love for romantic/fun photojournalistic, detailed photography has taken her far in a career that she once thought was only a dream.

Erin ChinniciErin Chinnici

Erin Chinnici studied at Missouri State University where she pursued a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art and Design with her emphasis in photography. She has worked in studio and wedding photography over the past four years beginning her training in Dallas, Texas. Studio work is truly gratifying and she has enjoyed creating beautiful works of art for families across the country. However, her passion is in wedding photography. Her style is photo journalistic at heart but she loves pushing posed photography into a more contemporary direction. Lighting is her favorite prop and she strives to find the most unique angles at every event. For artistic reasons, Erin has chosen to only shoot weddings that include two photographers throughout the wedding. And please let us know ahead of time if you are particularly interested in Erin as we need to check availability with her personally for specific dates. Finally, Erin loves to shoot as a second photographer with Stacy Collier and Guillermo Gomez, but with commensurate pay as a full rate photographer, which means $10 additional per hour over all on any contract with her as the second photographer.

Dominique PhotographerDominique Macaire

Dominique is a Senior Photographer for St. Louis Color. He has been shooting since 1997 and has completed numerous courses in photography and painting at the University of Pennsylvania. Dominique has worked for Ravetta Photography, Kabance Photo Services, Greater Image, and is currently an adjunct instructor in photography at Webster University. He has a wide range of experience in the photography field: wedding photography, portraiture, special events, sports and printing.

Dominique grew up in Paris, France, attended the University of Paris-X-Nanterre and has exhibited much of his work throughout his career. He has had exhibitions in France, Pennsylvania and Missouri. Dominique has an eye for originality and a keen interest in photojournalistic photography.

Julie Lang MisseyJulie Lang Missey

Julie is a Senior Photographer for St. Louis Color. She graduated in 1994 from Indiana University with a major in Photojournalism. Julie became interested in shooting weddings as a bride, learning about the photojournalistic style, and it matched her perfectly.

Julie started her commercial photography career with Kuhlman and Associates, Wal-Mart, and Dierbergs. She now works with Sara Lee Bakery Studio, Steve Adams Photography, and St. Louis Magazine.

Gara LacyGara Lacy

Growing up in Missouri’s Capital City, Gara found a satisfying and powerful interest in the arts. She has devoted herself to painting and photography and pursued her interests with a bacholors in fine arts from Northwestern Missouri State University and recently received a Masters of fine arts in Studio Arts from Lindenwood University where she is currently an adjunct professor of photography. Gara considers herself a visual story teller – which is exactly what brides are looking for these days. Although relatively new to St. Louis Color, Inc., Gara has shoot many weddings here in St. Louis.

Gara is constantly developing and refining her artistic skills – she is a true full time professional with a great attitude and personality. You will love working with her.

Gara is expecting for late summer and therefor will not be available for summer weddings.  She will shoot smaller weddings with non-shooting assistance through May.  She expects to be available to shoot weddings again starting in mid October.

Rebecca HaasRebecca Haas

Photographer and artist Rebecca Haas has been interested in the fine arts since she was a child. Rebecca grew up in Farmington, Missouri. Her parents, both artists, always encouraged Rebecca’s creativity. Rebecca often enjoyed exploring different mediums. During this exploration she discovered photography to be a very powerful tool.

Rebecca continued her interest in fine art throughout high school, attending The Visual and Performing Arts High School in St. Louis. In May of 2010, she received a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree with a major in Photography from the University of Missouri, St. Louis. Rebecca has been working in St. Louis as a photographer professionally since December of 2008, shooting portraits, weddings, sports, events, products, and working on personal projects.

She particularly enjoys portraiture. Working with people and capturing their unique personalities is an area in which she excels. Rebecca considers herself to have a natural and sophisticated approach to wedding photography, yet also loves capturing some fun and edgy images. She is very versatile. Each client is different and therefore she will customize her work to fit her client’s personality and needs.

Sonia DeaSonia Dea

Sonia’s interest in photography began as a young child and has never diminished. After taking several photography classes in High School, Sonia continued her education in photography by taking classes through the New York Institute of Photography. In 1998 Sonia started working for Don Bess Studios in Farmington, Missouri, where she stayed for five years as a photo lab manager and assistant photographer. There she quickly gained experience in wedding, sports, and other event photography.

Sonia’s approach to wedding photography is photo journalistic. Sonia’s intention is to stay out of the way of events as much as possible and let the wedding unfold naturally. This allows her to capture genuine moments artistically while allowing you to enjoy your wedding as much as possible.
