An Overview of our Photography Services:

Welcome and thank you for checking us out!

We have been in business over 22 years and done over 1500 weddings and we have never had a single complaint registered with the BBB. We may be the only studio in town with a comparable record with the BBB. It says we stand behind our work in a rock solid manner. We are also arguably #1 in bridal satisfation in the entire metropolitan area. "The Knot" - by far the leading wedding information entity in the US - has done the only independent surveys of bridal satisfaction ever done in the metro area the last three years and found us to be one of the top studios in the city for positive feedback from brides each year. Only two other studios in the city can say that. Our high quality, full service is custom tailored to each client - please give us a call and discuss your needs. We can come up with a package tailored to fit your needs, both in service and in price. Please note that we offer true journalistic style photography. In fact, we have been were pioneers in that style and have been providing journalisticstyle wedding photography as long or longer than any other studio in St. Louis. Our website address itself is a testament to that. By now, we know exactly what bridal couples want and strive to provide that in as professional and affordable manner as possible. That is why we are #1 in bridal satisfaction in the metro area.

Basic Services:
We are the highest rated studio in St. Louis by bridal satisfaction - if you like our work in general and are looking for the most economy, this service is for you. Included is an elegant private website with all your images for viewing and ordering. You can see samples of these private sites under "private galleries" on our website. This service also includes the edited images on DVD. Our beautiful custom designed bridal albums and custom finished prints are separate charges apart from the base photography charge, but they are also very reasonably priced. With "Basic Services" the specific photographer is permanently assigned by the studio about 12 weeks before the wedding. We will accept provisional assignments and preferences.

"Talent Select":
We like to emphasize that we offer extremely high quality and complete photography services. Our prices are very reasonable when you consider all you get for our charges. Below are photography charges for individual talents (which you are welcome to meet with before contracting). Talent Select weddings include a "shooting assistant" second photographer at no extra charge. Included is an elegant private website with all your images for viewing and ordering. You can see samples of these private sites under "private galleries" on our website. This service also includes the color corrected images on DVD and full rights to the images. Our beautiful custom designed bridal albums and custom finished prints are separate charges apart from the base photography charge, but they are also very reasonably priced. And these prices include everything - we do not try to hide the real cost of our services at any time. Some studios do.

With "Talent Select" the client selects his/her individual artist to capture photographic images at their wedding. The client is invited to visit us at our office and review a great deal of finished work from these photographers and/or meet them individually - we can provide contact information. We also have an individual bios section on this website: "Our Photographers" and we have a great deal of their work sorted by photographer in our Gallery Section. This service also includes a "shooting assistant" second photographer at no additional charge - but note: shooting assistants should not be expected to take formal portraiture; lots of candids, details and artistic images, but not formal portraiture. If you need a second photographer that can also take formal portraiture, please discuss this with us.

Our photography talents are categorized by Senior and Associate (the Seniors have over 15 years experience with us).

Highly Recommended Option: A 2nd assistant (non-shooting) can be added for $18.00/hour. This third person frees the two photographers to shoot full time and increases the overall journalistic/creative look to the photography.

Image Processing (editing and color correction) and Image Acquisition:

We have always been very careful about how we process our images - our very name implies that fact. We used to do custom printing for other photographers. We will spend many hours properly color correcting your wedding. Take a look at the thousands of sample images on this website - almost none were specially corrected for this website - they were what the client received.

We offer the client their files - printable files up to 8x10 right away and "full res files" with an album purchase or after two years. We want you to have your images and do whatever you would like with them. There is a very small service charge for burning the full res files as they might be three or even four DVDs.




Online Viewing and Ordering:

In addition to any other form of proofing clients have contracted for, we will always place your wedding images on a private website for you and make them available for secure online viewing and ordering by friends and family. The service can include password protection if so desired. The service has several inducements built in: all guests who pre-register with the site before it becomes active with the images (about four weeks after the wedding) receive a $5 gift certificate toward online orders, all orders within the first 30 days the site is active receive two prints for the price of one for any print they order, and the wedding couple receive credit toward large prints based on both the number of pre-registrations and total of online orders within the first 30 days the site is active.

Graphi Studio WB 8x12
Flush Print Coffee Table Style Album

This library bound hard page album comes with a metallic image dust jacket
but can be customized to an imbedded
metallic image cover. The printing is laminated actual photographic printing -
not offset printing on paper.

Coffee Table Style parents' albums are often duplicates copies of the bridal album.

Exact 6x8 duplicates of any Graphi original album: 2 for $450 (SP versions). Graphi parents albums of non Graphi original albums (8x8): the first for $450, then 2nd for $325.

Exact duplicate Art Leather LF Parents albums: 8.5x8.5 inch duplicate w/printed image cover for $300. Two for $525. (regardless of original album type.) Leather cover add $50.



Traditional Matted Albums

These are classic top of the line traditional matted albums.

Large: (12x12): Art Leather / Queensberry: Covers are $340 / 600. Each insert (2 sides) is $70 / 110 including any prints. Sample prices: All albums include prints:
A 12 insert (24 sides) album: $1180 / 1920.
A 16 insert (32 sides) album: $1460 / 2360.
A 20 insert (40 sides) album: $1740 / 2800.

Medium: (9x9) Art Leather / Queensberry Covers are $240 / 550. Each insert (2 sides) is $55 / 95. Sample prices: All albums include prints:

Leather Craftsmen albums are basically priced the same as the 12x12" Art Leather album, but there is an additional charge of $4.00/print dry mounting charge.

Our "Online Printing and Publishing" store allows the client to use their 8x10 files to purchase quality prints of their images at super bargain prices. The store is very comparable in pricing to most any quality lab and we stand behind the quality. Please use our "Online Printing and Publishing" store for you everyday printing needs. True Custom Print Pricing

We highly recommend your using our custom printing services to do your most important final printing even if you have acquired the full res large files on DVD. With this service a graphic designer will professionally review, refine, and print each image. This can make a huge difference - especially in large prints. Most retail outlets do not provide this quality. For super economical printing use our "online printing and publishing store".

40% reduced print packages (minimum regular price of $100) can be created and included in the contract.
A $200 print package at the regular prices becomes priced at $120 in the contract.

20% reduced print packages (minimum regular price of $100) can be created and purchased anytime.
A $200 print package at the regular prices becomes priced at $160 in the contract. Not combinable with the above offer.

All bridal couples are entitled to order of 4x6s (in quantity) at reduced prices: 25 or more for $2.50 each if ordered within 9 weeks from the wedding date. This counts toward a $100 print order to qualify for reduced pricing, but we cannot discount this price further.

A Final Note About High Quality

We are high quality because we don't cut corners:

We are a group of knowledgeable professionals with a combined 100+ years of experience and various college degrees in photography or graphic arts, not dilettantes pretending to be capable of professional quality. You are encouraged to personally meet with your photographer any time and certainly at a final planning before the wedding.

We can and do use real studio lighting (with gels when preferable).

We will manually custom correct each image individually.

We custom design all our finished albums with you in-house by professional graphic designers - not out of state and with few design choices. Unlike most studios, you actually meet with your designer. We offer you totally unique custom design from scratch by a professional graphic designer on Photoshop (no templates). Each album is a unique work of art.
